Alcatel-lucent Appoints Frédéric Sutter As Head Of Defence

Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) today announced that it has appointed Frédéric Sutter as global head of Defence Marketswith the exception of the US Federal Government which is managed through LGS. In his new position, Frederic will drive Alcatel-Lucent’s solutions into the Defence markets where communications systems are undergoing rapid transformation.

Before being active in the Defence activity, Frederic held several responsibilities with Alcatel-Lucent in managed services and corporate strategy. Prior to joining Alcatel-Lucent, Frederic Sutter worked in KPMG Peat Marwick as consultant where he participated in various projects in the telecommunications, manufacturing, utilities and government industries. He started his career in systems integration in Sema Group.

Frédéric is currently auditor at the French Institute for Advanced Studies in National Defence IHEDN (Institut des hautes études de défense nationale). He has a master of international business from the Lyon business school (EM Lyon) and a masters of science in electrical and telecommunications engineering from Télécom Bretagne.
