Travel Discount Helps Students Get On The Road To University30 August 2011 External Link: www.nationalexpress.com With almost 400,000 new students making the trip to University next month, National Express has relaunched its popular Young Person Coach Card – offering 30% off all journeys for the next three years. According to NUS figures, the cost of being a student is now in excess of £15,000 per year – with over £2000 on transport costs alone. National Express’ Young Persons Travel Card is available to all 16 – 26 year olds and anyone in full time education. The card costs £10 for one year or £25 for three years of discounted travel.
