Office Depot To Give Away Hundreds Of Thousands Of Free Backpacks And Lunch Totes To Back-to-school Shoppers

From July 31 through August 6, customers who spend at least $15 on school supplies at an Office Depot retail store location will instantly receive a free backpack and lunch tote* valued at $19.99.

"Back to school is an extremely busy time for parents, and we are happy to help them cross some products off of their school shopping list by providing both a free backpack and lunch tote when they make a qualifying purchase at one of our stores next week," said Linda Boykin, Vice President of Merchandising for Office Depot. "And with the prices lowered on more than 75 of the top back-to-school items this season, we are sure that parents will not only find one of the best selections of supplies, but also a great value."

In addition to the free backpack and lunch tote promotion, Office Depot will continue to offer "penny specials" each week during the back-to-school season that will be featured in the Sunday circular. Specials for the week of 7/31 include:

5 cent pencil pouch

5 cent protractor
