Dell Boomi AtomSphere Cloud Integration Platform 2011 now certified for connecting to the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform and integrating with SAP Business Suite software

Dell Boomi AtomSphereTM Cloud Integration Platform 2011, the No. 1 integration cloud, is now certified for connecting to the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform and SAP® Business Suite software, providing customers with an efficient, reliable and affordable gateway to the cloud. The result for customers is the power to drive greater enterprise efficiency within their organizations, while supporting existing connectivity approaches for SAP solutions.

Dell Boomi AtomSphere Cloud Integration Platform is delivered as-a-service to integrate two or more SaaS or on-premise applications. The cloud integration platform, now certified by SAP for connecting to SAP NetWeaver and integration with SAP Business Suite software, provides customers with a validated and simplified approach to adopting cloud computing and SaaS applications for SAP solutions ranging to the most recent release of SAP Business Suite. Customers now have connectivity between SAP Business Suite and over 70 leading cloud and SaaS applications.

Emtec Incorporated, a global systems integrator, is using Dell Boomi AtomSphere Cloud Integration Platform to integrate its implementation of the SAP enhancement package for the SAP ERP application with Salesforce.com Sales Cloud. Emtec has been able to design and deploy the Opportunity to Cash integration process between SAP ERP and Salesforce.com in a few weeks. The short build and deployment time has enabled flexibility in adopting business process enhancements by bypassing the usual turnaround time for application integration.

Dell Boomi AtomSphere Cloud Integration Platform 2011 has been certified by the SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) via the SAP CA-ALE integration scenario using the integration technology Application Link Enabling (ALE) mechanism to connect to SAP NetWeaver for the purpose of exchanging IDoc messages. Dell Boomi AtomSphere Cloud Integration Platform 2011 is also certified by the SAP ICC via an integration assessment, through which it can access the BAPIs of SAP Business Suite using the Remote Function Call (RFC).
