The Carphone Warehouse Stages The UK's First Live, Facebook Only Concert With Eliza Doolittle

Today, The Carphone Warehouse is announcing an exclusive event for its Facebook fans as it prepares to stage the UK’s first live, Facebook only concert with pop sensation Eliza Doolittle. British singer/songwriter Eliza will be stunning cyber audiences on 18th May with a private gig, to celebrate the launch of the INQ Cloud Touch. Available only at The Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy, the phone has been specially designed for social media addicts and places Facebook at its heart.

There’s a dedicated Facebook app which streams a live feed to the homescreen, while the easy to use ‘one-touch’ links to Chat, Friends, Messages, Wall and Notifications give users a direct click-through to friends’ updates, pictures, videos and webpages. The INQ Cloud Touch also uses the Facebook social graph API, which enables users to follow updates from the friends they interact with most. Fans will be able to access Eliza’s gig by logging on to The Carphone Warehouse Facebook page, where they’ll see her performing some of her most popular tracks.

My schedule is so hectic at the moment that it’s great to be doing a gig that everyone can see.
