Acer Inc. Q1 2011 Pc Revenue Falls Short Of Expectation;

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (March 25, 2011) – Acer Inc. announces that its Q1 2011 revenue from PCs will fall short of expectation. Due to relatively weaker PC demand in Western Europe and the U.S., as of today, Acer’s PC revenue shows decline of approximately 10% from the fourth quarter of last year.

For Q2 2011, Acer’s PC shipment is expected to remain flat over Q1. Acer started shipping tablet PCs in March, and will launch several new models in Q2 to ramp up the unit
